The Role

We’re looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with a growing business where quality, reliability and customer service always come first.

Working from a fully equipped company van, you’ll travel directly to customers carrying out a range of premium valeting and detailing services.

No two days are the same. One day you could be maintaining a customer’s pride and joy, the next preparing a vehicle for lease return or working alongside the business owner at one of our commercial partner locations.

Once fully trained, you’ll be trusted to manage your own daily workload while maintaining the high standards Wright Shine has become known for.

We are recruiting for both full-time and part-time positions. For the right candidate, there is the opportunity for part-time hours to develop into a full-time role as the business continues to grow.

Your Responsibilities

• Carry out premium mobile valeting and detailing services.
• Deliver consistently high standards on every vehicle.
• Represent Wright Shine professionally at every customer visit.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented company van.
• Care for company equipment and products.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Identify opportunities for additional services where appropriate.
• Help maintain the excellent reputation of the business.

About You

Previous valeting or detailing experience is advantageous, but we’re ultimately looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.

You’ll be someone who:

Our Approach

We’re not looking for the fastest valeter in the country.

We’d rather employ someone who consistently produces excellent work, takes pride in looking after customers and equipment, and genuinely enjoys doing the job properly.

Some days are busier than others, but we believe in treating people like adults. We focus on delivering outstanding results efficiently rather than watching the clock. Occasionally a day may run longer than expected, while other days you’ll finish much earlier. We value consistency, professionalism and teamwork over simply counting hours.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out a hands-on role.

Desirable Skills

• Previous mobile valeting or detailing experience.
• Experience driving vans.
• Machine polishing experience.
• Ceramic coating experience.

Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
