At Wright Shine, we offer one-to-one training in both valeting and detailing. We’ll spend a full day (or two) working with you through the fundamentals, as well as any specific areas you’d like to improve.
If you’re looking to improve how you care for your own car, we can come to you (within our service area) and spend the day working hands-on with your vehicle. We’ll cover proven processes, safe techniques, and the effective use of equipment you may already own or be considering.
When booking, let us know if there are any areas you’d like to focus on and we’ll tailor the training to ensure they’re fully covered.
We also offer training for those looking to pursue a career in valeting and/or detailing, covering professional techniques, equipment selection, workflow, and the business basics needed to operate to a high standard.
The training can include;
- Recommended products and how to use them
- Machine Polishing
- Paint correction
- Ceramic coatings*
- Safely valeting the interior and exterior
- Required equipment and how to implement at each stage
- Business basics
- Paint decontamination
- Leather and fabric treatment
*Ceramic coating training will be delivered as theory only if suitable indoor storage is not available. For practical application, the vehicle must be kept indoors for a minimum of 12 hours after application to allow the coating to cure. A £150 surcharge applies to cover coating materials.

Ensure you paint is fully protected with a 2-stage 5 year ceramic coating that can be incorporated into our detailing packages.
